THE ABILITY TO CONNECT IN RWANDA

Rwanda has a strong cell phone network that spans almost the entire country and allows quick international calls.

Local SIM cards can be found almost anywhere, including in small towns. MTN (coverage map) is the largest provider, followed by Airtel. Mobile phones can be bought or leased in Kigali’s leading stores.

Rwanda is among the top three African countries with an ever-growing fiber-optic network in terms of Internet connectivity. In major cities, high-speed 4G LTE wireless broadband is available.

There are many Internet cafes in most cities, and higher-end hotels offer free Wi-Fi.
